Returning to work after the lockdown, whether that is to an office, shop or factory, is undoubtedly going to be a strange experience.

Countries such as China, which have already overcome the initial peak of coronavirus, have established a series of hi- and low-tech measures to reopen workplaces while minimising the risk of infection.

Similar schemes are likely to be used in other countries as economies return to life. Their effectiveness will be crucial. Rushing to reopen businesses without proper safeguards could lead to thousands being infected...
