Spanish flu killed his twin. A century later, Covid-19 kills him

A 100-year-old World War 2 veteran has died of Covid-19, a century after his twin brother was killed in the 1918-19 Spanish flu pandemic.

Philip Kahn fought at the Battle of Iwo Jima and helped with aerial surveys after the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Newsday said on Wednesday.

Kahn and Samuel were born in December 1919. Samuel died of Spanish flu not long afterwards, the newspaper quoted his family as saying...
