The King of Spain has been drawn into a dispute over his father’s financial irregularities after he was linked to a secret fund that has raised questions over the royal family’s wealth.

We can reveal that 52-year-old King Felipe is named as a beneficiary of an offshore fund holding a €65m (R1.2bn)  gift from Saudi Arabia given to his father when he was on the throne.

The revelations threaten to tarnish Felipe’ s squeaky-clean image six years after he took over from Juan Carlos, 82, promising a clean break from his scandal-hit father...
