Venezuela can’t defeat the murderous Maduro regime on its own

As we suffer a humanitarian crisis, we need help to oust this socialist dictatorship, says interim president

It was an honour recently to meet UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and to reaffirm the Venezuelan interim government’s steadfast support for a sustainable solution to the Venezuelan crisis.

The Venezuelan people will never forget the UK’s support during our hour of need, and we thank them for the leadership that they have shown in addressing the humanitarian crisis afflicting our great country.

As demonstrated on January 5, Nicolás Maduro’s regime will stop at nothing to dismantle our last remaining democratic institution. On that day, despite the best efforts of the regime’s street thugs to prevent me from entering our parliamentary building, the true democratic Venezuelans of the national assembly met with a quorum and elected me their leader...
