China won’t be like Taiwan – it’s too busy trying to be straight

Taiwan has legalised same-sex marriage, but China refuses to follow its example

China is at least a decade away from allowing same-sex marriages.

The current priorities for now are introducing anti-discrimination laws, letting LGBT+ groups raise awareness without fear and banning conversion therapy, LGBT+ campaigners said on Thursday.
