‘F*** off, I'm a lawyer’: woman on plane unleashes racist rant
Irish-sounding passenger arrested for tirade after she was denied wine on an Air India flight
A 50-year-old woman refused a bottle of wine on board a plane launched into a racist tirade against staff and claimed she was an “international criminal lawyer” who would take them to court.
In the video, uploaded to Twitter by a fellow passenger, the woman, who appears to be from either Britain or Ireland, is seen shouting expletive-laden threats at Air India staff.
The blonde, barefooted woman yelled that she would “piss all over” the flight attendants in court, and called a female staff member an “Indian fucking money-grabbing bastard”, who she threatened to “turn inside out”.
The passenger, who appeared to be flying in business class, also claimed to be a “leader of the fucking boycott movement” and said she would arrange a boycott of Air India because they refused her a “wee bottle of wine”.
The incident occurred on an Air India flight from Mumbai to London Heathrow last Saturday.
Boasting about her alleged legal cases, the woman is seen shouting at a staff member who is believed to be one of the pilots.
In the video, she shouts: “‘Fuck off! I’m a fucking international criminal lawyer and a barrister. You will be pissed on in court!
“I work for all you fucking people ... “The fucking Rohingyas, the fucking people of all Asia, for you, I’m an international criminal lawyer. “Don’t get any money for it by the way. But you won’t give me a fucking glass of wine, is that correct?”
One of the passengers who was on board in the AI-131 flight told The Sun: “The woman was seated on her seat. After gulping down few glasses of wine she went to the lavatory and burnt a smoke but unfortunately the smoke detector didn’t set off.
“She came back to her seat and gulped down some more wine and asked for more when the flight attendant refused her demands.
“It was then she turned unruly towards the flight attendant and started with the verbal spat.”
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the woman was taken into custody after landing, saying the woman was arrested at Heathrow “on suspicion of racially aggravated public order, common assault and drunk and disorderly, and taken to a west London police station”. “She was subsequently released under investigation.”
