Next weekend will mark a year since the wheels came off the juggernaut that was Super Rugby.

Despite having a wonky wheel, or two, for the last decade Super Rugby was chugging along as it had been for 25 seasons before the competition disappeared without a trace.

The history books will show on week seven of a scheduled 18, the Hurricanes inflicted more misery on Warren Gatland’s Chiefs, the Blues thumped the Lions, the Crusaders helped the sun set on the Sunwolves, the Reds gored the Bulls, the Sharks took lumps out of the Stormers before the Brumbies downed the Waratahs in a Sunday fixture...
