Rugby’s over-complicated laws are fouling play

In many instances this has to do with TMOs, with Nigel Owens saying the game needs to rely less on them

Rugby is drifting further from its base and there is serious doubt it is bobbing towards a friendly port.

There are myriad reasons for the above assertion, but what has raised the ire of the game’s rank and file is the sport’s inconsistent and often poor officiating.

On an almost weekly basis fans on either side of the equator are left puzzled and bemused at officials’ decisions and interpretations in an already complicated sport...
