Covid-19 a concern on eve of India tour: Boucher
Mark Boucher says the Proteas medical staff have plans in place to secure the team from the risk of the coronavirus outbreak that has left governments around the world scrambling to contain it. The Proteas left for India via Dubai on Sunday and are scheduled to play three ODIs in the cities of Dharamshala‚ Lucknow and Kolkata from March 12-18. Boucher admitted the virus is a serious concern but they have been adequately briefed and assured their lives would not be at risk. “We have the medical staff and like in the past where there was a security concern‚ we give that to them and they come up with recommendations. If they feel it is too dangerous‚ they pull us out and this is no different‚” he said...
