1996 — Bafana Bafana live up to the hype as they thrash Cameroon 3-0 in their African Nations Cup opener at FNB Stadium. Phil Masinga opened the scoring in the 14th minute and Mark Williams made it 2-0 before the break. John “Shoes” Moshoeu put the result beyond doubt when he scored in the 55th minute.
