Ntini the biggest wild card beneficiary

Thando Ntini was the biggest beneficiary of the Mzansi Super League Wild Card draft. The son of Proteas legend Makhaya‚ the right-handed seam bowler and left-handed batsman is quietly carving his own path. Ntini will be representing Paarl Rocks‚ which makes sense for the youngster as he represents Western Province at first-class level. The 19-year-old‚ who represented SA at Under-19 World Cup early last year when he was 17‚ has already played 12 matches in all formats for Western Province without breaking through into the Cape Cobras. Ntini will join a Paarl Rocks squad that contains Protea Test captain Faf du Plessis‚ Test opener Aiden Markram‚ JP Duminy‚ England’s James Vince and domestic veteran Henry Davids...
