Following defeat at the hands of the All Blacks the Springboks have been left with several areas that require their coaching staff’s attention.

While they gave a decent account of themselves the Boks will have to sharpen their finishing, bring clarity to the position of captain Siya Kolisi, be less prone to trickery at the scrum, bring accuracy to their tactical kicking, and restore potency to their maul. It will also help if the case of alleged assault that is being investigated against Eben Etzebeth moves decisively one way or the other. 

It sounds like a lot but in the areas where coaching intervention is required only fine tuning is needed. The apex teams in international rugby are separated by small margins...
