Rabble no more: The Boks are back in town

Draw against New Zealand offers a number of positives, and sends the message that they're a threat once more

Last Saturday’s 16-16 draw with the All Blacks in Wellington was a superb result for the Springboks, but also a game in which several problematic issues arose.

That though, is the point of the Boks’ approach in 2019 – to get results while addressing shortcomings. So far they are on track with seven weeks to go to Rugby World Cup 2019.

After two rounds of the Rugby Championship coach Rassie Erasmus finds his Bok team top of the standings because they did what only the Boks have previously managed in the tournament this decade – not to lose in New Zealand...
