Nice one, Crusaders, but Super Rugby needs a total overhaul
The tournament is struggling for an audience and it is withering before our eyes, but it’s not the teams’ fault
There was an inevitability about the Crusaders winning last Saturday’s Super Rugby final long before a ball was passed or a kick landed, because the (now) 10-time champions just don’t lose at home.
The 19-3 victory over a gallant Jaguares was the Crusaders’ sixth home final win and their 24th home playoff success in their 24th attempt.
