Today in SA sports history: December 20
1969 — England inflict a second Test defeat on the Springboks as they win 11-8 at Twickenham in London. Lock Peter Larter and hooker John Pullin scored tries for the home side while flanker Piet Greyling dotted down for SA. The Boks had lost to Scotland in their tour opener earlier in the month.
