2008 — Hashim Amla makes his ODI debut against Bangladesh at Chittagong. Batting at three, he came in with South Africa on 143/1, chasing 179 runs. Amla scored a single off the first delivery he faced, turning Shakib Al Hasan to short fine leg. Amla also hit his first four off Shakib before ending unbeaten on nine off 19 deliveries. At the other end captain Graeme Smith was 103 not out.
