What is Sunday Times Daily?
Sunday Times Daily, published by Arena Holdings, is South Africa’s first digital daily edition, put together by an expert editorial team to tell you what you need to know and why it matters – all in a fast, convenient and fun read.
It gives you a sharply edited view of the news of the day – South African news exclusive to Sunday Times Daily as well as a selection of other important or interesting national, business, lifestyle, sport and world news.
Sunday Times Daily was known as Times Select from its February 2018 launch date until September 2020.
When is Sunday Times Daily published?
A new edition is online daily from Monday to Friday at 5am. Once readers have registered on the website, they can also sign up for a morning newsletter delivered via email.
Who can read Sunday Times Daily?
When you register on Sunday Times Daily, you can comment on free articles and subscribe to our email newsletter, send out at 5am daily. If you've already registered on TimesLIVE, BusinessLIVE or SowetanLIVE, sign in with the same details.
However, most of the content on Sunday Times Daily is reserved for our subscribers. View the subscription options or have a look at our FAQs page. All Sunday Times subscribers enjoy full access to Sunday Times Daily too.
How is Sunday Times Daily different from TimesLIVE?
Unlike news sites that produce a constant stream of breaking news, Sunday Times Daily cuts through the noise for readers who are overloaded with information or too busy to spend their lives glued to a screen.
TimesLIVE publishes a wide range of free news 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while Sunday Times Daily is an unmissable once-a-day snapshot of essential news.
