A technical glitch when uploading an exam paper in 2020 has caused Sibulele Dyi endless problems
The University of SA (Unisa) is in a stand-off with a student after she claimed that delays in being granted a supplementary exam prejudiced her chances of qualifying as a chartered accountant.
Unisa initially opposed Sibulele Dyi’s court bid last year to force it to grant her an opportunity to rewrite two papers for the applied management accounting module.
And after she was finally allowed to write it on January 18, the institution failed to give her marks, saying she was absent for the exams...
