‘We will finish what we started’: Cyril’s message to anti-renewal brigade
President says the state will not waver in pinning down those who grew fat off resources meant for citizens
President Cyril Ramaphosa took the fight to his detractors while delivering the presidential budget vote on Thursday, saying his government will not be distracted from its renewal agenda.
Without mentioning names, Ramaphosa said: “The fight against corruption continues apace and the net is closing in on those who, for years, grew fat off the money and resources meant for the benefit of the South African people.
“It is they who fear the renewal agenda most and they will do anything to divert the focus off themselves. But we will not waver. We will not blink. We will finish what has been started,” he said...
