Don’t quote me: academics rapped on knuckles for alleged self-plagiarism
Notice confirming retraction of article makes reference to parts copied from an older paper by the three researchers
The editors-in-chief of an esteemed journal have retracted an article co-authored by three academics after finding that it “duplicated significant parts of several papers by some of the same authors”.
The article written by professors Abiodun Ogundeji and Johanes Belle from the natural and agricultural sciences faculty at the University of the Free State and T O Ojo from Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria was featured in the publication, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, in November 2021.
The article was titled “Climate change perception and impact of on-farm demonstration on intensity of adoption of adaptation strategies among smallholder farmers in SA”...
