Landmark Johannesburg property Summer Place has been sold at auction for R129m to a local consortium.

“My name is Jackie. That’s enough. It’s all you need to know,” said the masked businessman in a khaki suit, just minutes after three gavel blows rang out and he was announced as the winning bidder.
