ANCWL slams mother ship for its financial woes and inequality

League says since January 2018, when Cyril Ramaphosa was elected party president, it has not received backing

The ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) has blamed the mother ship’s precarious financial situation for its shortcomings, citing a lack of financial support as its biggest challenge since 2018.

Things are so bad that the league’s secretary-general, Meokgo Matuba, has not received her full monthly stipend for more than two years.

This is revealed in a report submitted to the party’s national executive committee (NEC) at a weekend ANC national executive committee meeting about the state of the league...
