Tony Cox hopes wife can earn living wage in the UK

Senior reporter

Fans and friends of award-winning musician Tony Cox have rallied to help finance the popular performer’s relocation to the UK. Cox, 66, says the move is intended to secure financial security for his wife and two children.

“I have not been able, in my career as a professional musician, to gather a pension or savings together,” Cox said in response to queries. “This puts my young family at great risk should something happen to me. We have to go where my wife can work and earn a living wage so the family can continue should I become incapacitated in any way.”..
