Witnesses to the gunning down of Johannesburg anaesthetist Dr Abdulhay Munshi have described how a lone gunman pulled the trigger before speeding off in a getaway car – all within three minutes.

Munshi was shot five times moments after his black BMW was rear-ended by a motorist driving a dark grey Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday afternoon in Fairwood, near Orange Grove.
