As the first wave wanes, these are the lessons SA has learned from Covid

Experts weigh in on what went right and wrong between the country’s first case and the peak

We’re on a downward trajectory as the number of active Covid-19 infections and deaths drops across SA.

This is by no means “the end” of it, say experts, but it’s a good time to pause and ask what we’ve learnt from the first wave of the deadliest pandemic in a century.
