Don’t let your guard down or, rather, your mask when using a public toilet.

That’s the word from researchers at Yangzhou University in China, whose original study released in June suggested that flushing public toilets was likely to release clouds of virus-laden aerosols that could be inhaled.

Their latest findings, published in the Physics of Fluids journal, show that flushing urinals are likely to be equally harmful, prompting them to call for the mandatory wearing of masks in public toilets during the Covid-19 pandemic...
