Most teachers half her age would have been terrified of returning to school after a colleague or pupil tested positive for Covid-19, but Judith Swart couldn’t wait to get back into the classroom.
Despite being in a high-risk category, the 71-year-old grandmother of three went back to teaching hospitality studies at Milner High School in Klerksdorp in North West, even after one of her matrics became infected last month.
