As Gordon Human shelled out R20,000 for whisky and rum, tavern owner Abraham Mkhabela was still counting the cost of SA’s alcohol prohibition.
Human, on behalf of himself and two mates, packed his trolley with bottles of Bell’s whisky and Red Heart rum, his favourites, on Tuesday. The trio each contributed more than R6,000.
