‘You do not want your visit to your grandparents to lead to grief’

Co-operative governance and traditional affairs (Cogta) minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has pleaded with young people not to abuse the lifting of the ban on social and family visits, especially when visiting grandparents.

Starting on Tuesday, people will be allowed to visit their friends and families for the first time in five months, and buy alcohol and cigarettes.

Now all and sundry can gather in their homes in groups of no more than 10 people as the country enters level two of government’s risk-adjusted Covid-19 lockdown strategy...
