Confusion all round on what to do when there is a Covid-19 positive case at school
Angry parents forcefully removed their children from a Gauteng school on Thursday after four teachers contracted Covid-19, highlighting widespread confusion about schools with positive cases.
The parents at Payneville Primary School in Ekurhuleni demanded the closure fearing pupils would contract the virus. Nine of the 32 teachers were in self-quarantine, while only 11 of the remaining 23 reported for duty.
