Right now, companies, especially online ones, are facing a test second to none and most of them are letting down their customers in huge numbers.

The Covid-19 lockdown gave rise to a sudden, unprecedented spike in demand, stock shortages, legally restricted operations, time-consuming new health and sanitisation protocols, the closure of call centres and customer contact staff working from home. Talk about a perfect storm!..
