Ahead of the curve: Africa is beating the Covid-19 odds

But while the continent confounds modelling, the Africa CDC director urges countries not to drop their guard

SA is the epicentre of Covid-19 infections in Africa, but the high number of infections is not a negative reflection on the country, according to the director of the Africa CDC, Dr John Nkengasong.

“The more you test, the more you find,” he said at his weekly briefing on coronavirus.
