Days after its global release, ‘Blood & Water’ ranked first on the streaming service in several countries
A mistaken film school application has finally led to filmmaker Nosipho Dumisa directing an original African Netflix series.
The Durban-born filmmaker, who initially planned on acting, found herself in the director’s seat for her debut feature film, Nommer 37, in 2017. That paved the way for her to being among the first black women in SA to direct an original Netflix series.
