To be wheel safe, have no truck with men

Men pose more risk to other road users than women, especially when driving trucks, a study has found

If more women drove heavy-duty trucks the roads would be safer.

A study, published in online journal Injury Prevention, found that men posed greater risk to other road users than women and were more likely to drive more dangerous vehicles. 

The findings have prompted researchers to suggest that greater gender equity in road transport jobs might lessen these risks...
