Bid to lock up child-murder accused who ‘threatened to kill witnesses’

The man accused of torturing and murdering his mentally disabled girlfriend’s two-year-old son has been accused of threatening to kill a key witness in his murder trial.

The state wants him in police custody to secure the safety of the witnesses.
