Study finds that a 1°C rise in same-day maximum temperature is linked to a 1.5% rise in homicides


Researchers had a suspicion that climate change was playing a role in murders in SA – a country that can ill-afford any exacerbating factors.

After trawling through 17 years’ worth of data, the results proved harrowing.
