Three month before the winter season starts, the report on summer fatalities is ‘still being edited’
Six weeks after the closure of the summer initiation season in the Eastern Cape, the provincial government still has not released the official report into the death of 28 young men at the province’s initiation schools.
The report is expected to outline what the provincial government is doing to prevent further deaths during the winter circumcision season in three months’ time.
