A Dros franchise owner is suing the restaurant chain’s holding company, Krugkor, claiming he was fleeced out of R1.5m by its CEO, Rene Jordaan.
Business owner Kamaljid Shivanand, in his application submitted to High Court in Johannesburg, claims Jordaan asked for franchise payments to be made into his personal bank account.
Shivanand also said the corporation had double-charged him, which forced him to shut down his business after it became financially unstable...
