School rivalry ends with nasty game of poaching

After nearly 100 years, two KZN schools have halted sporting fixtures with each other for the ‘foreseeable future’

An ongoing fight about the “poaching” of sports stars at two rival KwaZulu-Natal high schools on Thursday culminated in the severing of ties for the “foreseeable future”.

Durban High School (DHS) announced it would discontinue all sporting fixtures with longtime rival Glenwood High School, saying it was not an easy decision to make but that the school governing body felt very seriously about the matter.
