Tuesday’s witness at the Zondo inquiry was not the first to paint Zuma junior with the ‘silence’ brush
Deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo observed at the state capture inquiry on Tuesday how “interesting” it was to hear another witness testify how Duduzane Zuma was quietly in the background as bribes were offered.
This after former SAA acting chief executive Vuyisile Kona told the Zondo commission how Zuma junior kept quiet at a meeting where he testified he was offered R500,000 by Tony Gupta.
Kona was not the first witness at the commission to paint Zuma Junior with the “silence” brush. Former finance deputy minister Mcebisi Jonas and former Free State MEC for finance Mxolisi Dukwana said the same during their respective testimonies. Duduzane Zuma has disputed Jonas’s version...
