Wife murderer Jason Rohde might be cleared if the views of the two appeal court judges are anything to go by.

The Supreme Court of Appeal granted the disgraced former property mogul R200,000 bail on Friday, saying he had “real prospects for success on appeal”.

Judge Christiaan van der Merwe, who wrote the majority judgment – with SCA Judge President Mandisa Maya concurring – granted Rohde bail on the basis that he had “established on a balance of probabilities that the interests of justice permit his release on bail”...
