Couple tried Pretoria police, NPA and Ipid. Two years on, the anticorruption unit is finally taking them seriously


For two years, Themba and Nandipha Nkosi have been battling what they have labelled a malicious prosecution.

Now, after dozens of attempts to lodge complaints with the Pretoria police, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (Ipid), someone is finally taking them seriously.

The Gauteng police’s anticorruption unit has taken up their case and is investigating their claims that an investigating officer was harassing them, potentially forged documents and manipulated the investigation...
