Discovery changes Vitality, but claims it has something Miles better

The Miles programme was discontinued in 2018, but it’s back by popular demand – with big changes

Discovery has changed its Vitality programme, replacing Vitality points with Discovery Miles from January 2020, saying it has created an “ubiquitous e-currency”.

The miles programme was previously only available to credit card holders. From January, Discovery Miles will be available to Discovery Life, Health (Vitality) and bank clients.

Discovery Miles was discontinued in November 2018 after the launch of Discovery Bank, in favour of a cash-back reward system. But this did not go down well with its clients and the miles programme has made a comeback – with some changes...
