The World Cup Canopy Piloting hits Wonderboom this week and SA have their eye on smashing a bunch of records


The airspace above the Wonderboom Airport in Pretoria will be a busy place this week as 10 South Africans jump at the chance to secure the Parachuting World Cup trophy. 

And the winner takes all – all the glory, that is, because despite the dangers of rushing towards water, or the ground, at 260km/h there is no prize to be won. Only a title. 

SA is hosting the 10th International Parachuting Commission World Cup Canopy Piloting this year, hosting  92 parachuters from 23 countries...
