Land-grab violence is always the land owners’ fault, says Malema
The EFF has gone to the Constitutional Court in a case that will test the outer boundaries of free speech
Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema says land owners should be to blame if the landless – acting on an incitement to unlawfully occupy land – invaded their property.
In documents filed at the Constitutional Court, Malema contends that such landowners should use their civil right to go to court to seek the removal of the occupiers.
“If these is any violence, it results from landowners not using these non-violent civil remedies,” he argues...
