He may be SA’s biggest brat, but Lazarus, the Cape clawless otter, is cashing in on all the attention he is getting and may even feature in his own TV show next year.
Two weeks ago, the three-year-old was brought to Owl Rescue Centre, a nonprofit organisation dedicated to protecting owls and birds of prey, in Hartebeespoort, north of Johannesburg.
Now the abandoned otter is getting daily swimming lessons in the Crocodile River, where a six-month programme has been developed to familiarise him with his new habitat. ..
