Post office killing: The last fearful moments of Uyinene Mrwetyana’s life

Blood inside a post office and in the accused’s car tells only part of the story of the student's murder

University of Cape Town (UCT) student Uyinene Mrwetyana trusted a “helpful” post office worker.

Instead, he locked her in the Clareinch post office in Claremont, Western Cape, before allegedly raping and killing her. She most probably died when the attacker knocked her out with a scale.

Blood found inside the post office and in the accused’s car tells only part of the story, as the student’s body is yet to be found...
