Plans for more staff at hospitals are ‘gathering dust’

There is no shortage of plans to fix the lack of doctors and nurses, we simply aren't implementing them, conference hears


None of the government plans designed to improve staff shortages and training at state hospitals have been implemented as doctor shortages persist.

This emerged at a panel discussion at the Hospital Association Conference of SA, an annual event organised by private hospital groups.
