Health department launches an urgent probe into the dismissal as a petition gets 11,000 signatures
The Western Cape health department has launched an urgent investigation into the dismissal of an anaesthetist in training and the suspension of his colleague for “stealing” two broken chairs from Tygerberg Hospital in Cape Town.
An outcome is expected next week, health spokesperson Nomawethu Sbukawana told Times Select.
The department would be able to explain its side of story “next week, once the comprehensive investigations are complete”...
