A group of international scientists has come up with a way to use cashew nut shells to protect human skin from harmful rays from the sun.

The “green chemists” – Kennedy Ngwira, Jonas Kühlborn, Quintino Mgani, Charles de Koning and Till Opatz – believe there is a need to develop new, efficient and eco-friendly ultraviolet filters, ideally in a sustainable fashion.
